Tommy Lynch
Tommy Lynch, aka The Fish Whisperer, has been fishing the Pere Marquette River since he was seven years old. Tommy has been guiding for Pere Marquette River Lodge for the past decade and for other outfitters prior.

Tommy’s areas of expertise include indicator fishing for steelhead and fishing in the dark for large brown trout. He has set the pace for indicator fishing for steelhead and has more hours fishing in the dark than any two people around. His “Big Trout” count (trout over two feet) can’t be touched as he averages four fish each summer that are the fish of a lifetime! He has also managed to land more steelhead on dry flies than anyone in the region. Tommy’s knowledge of the river is second to none and he has been known to put clients on fish when fishing is at its toughest.

Tommy has been featured in and written articles for various local and national fishing journals such as Fish & Fly Magazine, Michigan Streamside Journal and Michigan Trout where he has a regular column. He is available for guiding, fly tying and casting lessons and speaking engagements. When not guiding, Tommy can be found at his home near Baldwin tying flies or fishing; he’s been known to fish over 300 days a year. Though he can be a little intense and excitable at times, those words don’t even start to explain how passionate he is about what he does and the fish he seeks.
