Formerly known as Mike Saladine, Mongo has earned his name with his approach to life and fly fishing together. He has been with Orvis and guiding for five years, pursuing his love affair with big fish. Mongo has a drift boat and jet sled, giving him access to just about any fish able waters.

This summer, Mongo will begin to lead guided trips for large and elusive carp on the Muskegon, Grand, and Saginaw Rivers. These golden monsters are becoming one of the most sought after freshwater quarry for flyrodders, and a challenge you should definitely try.
