Gabe Nyblad

Gabe started fishing the Pere Marquette and surrounding tributaries in 1999. Since then he graduated from Western Michigan University with a degree in Sales and Business Marketing. He was President of the WMU fishing club and organized bi-annual Collegiate Steelhead Tournaments in northwest Michigan, which has given him a solid reputation among Michigan anglers and outfitters. Gabe used up his free time in college perfecting his craft with some of the more reputable anglers in the area. He also thoroughly enjoys exploring new water, which has led him to be very knowledgeable about every western Michigan tributaries from Indiana to Traverse City. He guides on the Pere Marquette, Big Manistee and Muskegon river and for anyone that is interested in the learning the ever growing Center Pin technique, he is the go to guy.  Gabe spent this past summer guiding at the Goodnews River Lodge in Alaska.

Gabe has a unique knack with people and there is nothing he enjoys more than sharing his expertise with fellow anglers. If you are young, old, beginner, or expert he will cater to your needs and make sure that you have the most enjoyable experience on the water.
